Portuguese Customs Gateway goes live
MoreData's Portuguese Customs Gateway started live operations early this month, providing services for our partner Kewill.
The first ICS messages flowed rapidly from Germany to Portuguese Customs for an airline company that recently started daily flights to Lisbon.
The messages are delivered by Kewill in an internal CustomsXchange format to be quickly validated and transformed to Portuguese ICS format, which is immediatly sent to Portuguese Customs. Response messages from Customs, as soon as available, are then transformed to Kewill format and delivered to the origin system.
The PTCG support team is available 24x7x365. The whole process, including eventual problem solving, is conducted in English, facilitating the operation for non-Portuguese companies. Other types of messages, besides ICS, can be processed and delivered.
